Our honey comes from our own Apiary - the One Love Apiary - in the countryside of Kirkland, IL which is just north of Rt 72 and south of Business 20.
Our bees have access to acres of lush wildflowers, pasture, alfalfa, dandelions, clover, and orchard blossoms from our own extensive fruit orchard & acreage of pasture, hayfields, and native wildflower plantings. We may be biased, but our bees produce the BEST honey you have ever tried - hands down! We hear this time and time again from our customers near and far. We never heat, filter, or alter our honey in any way. What you will receive is pure raw honey that is literally straight from the hive into the bottle. We are fourth generation beekeepers and passionately care for our apiary making sure no pesticides or chemicals are used in their immediate vicinity and in the surrounding acreage. Did you know bees can fly up to a 3 mile radius to forage? This is important knowledge when sourcing your honey and knowing your beekeeper. In fact I raise our bees just 2 miles from where my great-grandfather kept his bees! We also do not use any chemicals or synthetic agents in our hives or in the beekeeping process at any stage.
